Easter is not just a day to celebrate what happened at some point in the past. It is a day to remember what is happening here now, in the present moment, in us, through us, in this city.

Sometimes we live with no expectations of miracles. Gathering the spices, thinking there is nothing beyond the pain or the grief of today.

But resurrection hope happens before we even recognize it. God rolls away stones we didn’t even realize could move.

Stop seeing the city as a tomb and start seeing it a garden.
